HQ-OXY series purification installations for iron (Fe) - manganese (Mn) - hydrogen sulphide (H2S)
These water treatment plants work without external used air-injection devices, therefore is maintenance and installation simplified. An additional advantage is that the system makes removal of higher levels of iron, manganese and hydrogen sulphide possible. These treatment plants are based on oxidation and mechanical filtration.
OXIDATION: dissolved contaminants are converted into insoluble particles by using oxygen as oxidant.
MECHANICAL FILTRATION: the insoluble particles are removed by sedimentation on a filter medium.
The configuration in these plants have a compressed-aeration room built into the unit itself. This allows to accellerate the oxidation reaction of the dissolved impurities, but also to make the efficient removal of hydrogen sulfide possible.
